Sober September shows strength in numbers

Residents showed heroism last month as the community supported those in recovery. Local non-profits took part in national fundraising challenge

Lakeland College and Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Lloydminster (BBSA) joined in on the Great Canadian Giving Challenge (GCGC) to raise money for their organizations. Both non profits work with canadahelps.org, who started the GCGC campaign. Canada Helps reached out via email, and the Lloydminster establishments decided to join in.
