A positive COVID-19 case have been confirmed at both E.S Laird Middle School and Lloydminster Comprehensive High School.
The Lloydminster Public School Division was informed of the positive cases on Monday.
To minimize further risk, all classes at E.S Laird will be cancelled on Tuesday and students will move to online learning from November 4th to 16th.
From November 9th to 13th there will be no online learning due to the November break. Students will resume with regular classes on November 17th.
Communication has been shared with the specific classrooms at the Comp, as well as the community at both schools
The SHA is currently conducting contact tracing.
“We are all in this together. Students and families are asked to please be diligent in monitoring their daily health and if ill to please remain at home. If students or family members are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms please follow up with Public Health by calling the Healthline at 811 for further instructions,” said Director of Education Todd Robinson.
The Lloydminster Public School Division, E.S. Laird Middle School Administration, and LCHS Administration with the support of Public Health and the SHA, will continue to communicate additional information as it becomes available.
