The Lloydminster Public School Division has announced someone in the facility has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is currently conducting contact tracing, and as a result classes have been cancelled on Friday, October 23 and the facility will be closed to the public.

“As an extra precaution, the classrooms and common areas of E.S. Laird Middle School will be cleaned and sanitized prior to students returning to school,” said Director of Education, Todd Robinson.

The LPSD is asking parents and students to monitor their health, and immediately self-isolate and contact HealthLine 811 if they develop symptoms.
