Residents will hear from candidates ahead of the provincial and municipal elections; this year, it will be through the internet.
In previous years, the Chamber of Commerce had all the candidates up on stage with an audience in attendance.
“This year we’re doing it a bit different. We’re going to have all the candidates and the moderator and question collators in the same room. However, we are going to live stream the event,” said Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Serena Sjodin.
The forums can be viewed by the public on multiple different platforms as well as the Chamber’s social media and website.
Saskatchewan candidates have until Saturday October 10th to submit their nominations so the list is not finalized yet.
There are currently 18 candidates running for Lloydminster City Council.
