Sixteen more recoveries, two new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan

The Government of Saskatchewan is reporting 16 more people have recovered from COVID-19.

There are two new cases in the province, bringing the total to 44 active cases.

Of the two new cases, there is one case in both the Far North West zone and Saskatoon.

There is still only one active case in the North West 2 zone that contains Lloydminster, Maidstone and Lashburn.

Twenty of the 44 active cases are in communal living settings.

In the last 24 hours, the province conducted 1,561 COVID-19 tests, bring the total number of tests performed in Saskatchewan to 136,333.

Alberta is reporting 158 new cases of COVID-19 have been discovered in the last 24 hours,

The province is now sitting at 1,185 active cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the province to 13,476.

The province has performed 10,962 tests in the last 24 hours, with the total number of tests performed to 933,365.
