Over $16k raised in Lloydminster for Camp Day

During a time where some people may be pinching their pennies, the community helped raise $16,504 for Tim Horton’s Camp Day this year.

The company donated 100% of their hot and iced coffee sales to send local youth from disadvantaged circumstances to one of seven Camps across North America. The camp is available during the Summer for kids from ages 12 to 16 from low-income families.

Across Canada and the United States, just under $11 million was raised on Camp Day.

The camp experience was different than in recent years due to the pandemic. This year they held an eight-week digital camp.

Over the past 40 years, the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps have helped nearly 300,000 youth.
