Vermilion area records three new COVID-19 cases

Three new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the County of Vermilion River.

According to the Alberta Health Services virus data map, there are a total of ten cases with seven recovered as of August 3rd in the county.

The M.D. of Wainwright has 8 active cases, 9 recoveries and one death.

Two Hills has reported a death in the county. It currently has no active cases and eight recoveries.

The County of Minburn has no active cases and four recoveries.

Currently, there are 211 active cases in the Central zone.

There has been a total of 267 recoveries in the zone since March.

Provincially within the past 24 hours, 303 new cases have been recorded.

Over the weekend, 97 cases were recorded on Friday, 67 on Saturday, 74 on Sunday and on 65 Monday.

Alberta has 1,191 active cases in with 11,146 cases reported since March.
