The Lloydminster Colonial Days Fair kicks off tomorrow in a brand new restricted way.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, some aspects of the fair have been changed to ensure the safety of Lloydminster residents.
To start off the week, the Ex has put together a reverse parade tomorrow from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Residents will be able to drive through the Lloyd Exhibition parking lot to look at the parade floats and pick up some pre-packaged fair snacks such as mini donuts.
The annual pancake breakfast is not to be forgotten as it will still run drive through style from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday morning.
As previously mentioned by Agriculture Manager, Sydney Lake, a fair is not a fair without favourite fair foods which will be readily available all four days.

Throughout the week, organizers will be posting submissions from various virtual competitions on their social media sites.
Pick of the Pasture, Sheer Delight, Makers, Bakers, and Creators, and a pie eating contest required residents to submit their photos and videos for voting throughout the week.
Pick of the Pasture is a cow calf competition where people go out to their pastures, snap a couple pictures of their cow calf pairs and submit them.
Sheer Delight is a competition for kids to dress up with their sheep in a sheep costume and submit photos to the organization.
Makers, Bakers, and Creators is for Lloydminster residents to submit photos or videos of the creative things they have done during COVID.
Pie munching competitors had to take a video of their chow time and send it in for the Lloyd Ex team to post.
To cap off the week of funtivities, the Lloyd Ex grounds will be hosting drive in fireworks at 11 p.m..
